Goryeo celadon sake cup.Â
It is from the Early Joseon Dynasty period. Unlike items from the Goryeo Dynasty, it has a thick construction that fits comfortably in the hand and feels warm. Even among the white porcelains of the late Joseon Dynasty, small items like this exist, but compared to those, it has a very refined construction of the mouth and body. The form somewhat reminds one of vessels from China's Yuan Dynasty.
