This piece likely depicts the white fox as a divine messenger, possibly representing the fox that is ridden by the deity Dakiniten. There is some wear on the interior, but there are no chips or cracks, and the condition is generally good. It comes with a matching box, although the lid and base are cracked.

Given the shrine and white fox decorations, it is unlikely to be a piece of ordinary tableware and is probably intended for use in religious ceremonies. Â
