Description

This is a vintage Japanese hanging lantern (toro) shaped like a traditional Kuzuya (thatched-roof house). It is constructed from thin, lightweight brass sheets.

The lantern features a textured roof designed to resemble thatch and a hinged door on the front. The interior windows are lined with old Japanese washi paper. It includes an iron hanging chain attached to the top with a copper ring.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING HANGING:
There is a copper ring connecting the iron hanging chain to the lantern. If you plan to hang it for an extended period, please use pliers to securely close this copper ring into a tight circle to prevent the lantern from falling.
