■ Description Item Details This is a mesmerizing Japanese Matcha Tea Bowl (Chawan) created by the ceramic artist Matsuyama Gaei (松山雅英). It comes with its original signed wooden box (Tomobako) and pamphlet.

  • Style (Peacock Tenmoku): The bowl features the stunning "Kujaku (Peacock) Tenmoku" glaze. It displays a vibrant and galaxy-like color palette, blending deep purple, crimson red, and flashes of emerald green spots, resembling the feathers of a peacock.

  • Glaze Flow: A beautiful, thick "curtain" of glaze flows down towards the foot, creating a rich tactile texture.

  • Artist: Matsuyama Gaei.

    • The box is signed "Gaei Saku" (雅英 作).

    • The bottom of the bowl is stamped with the artist's mark "Masa/Ga" (雅) inside a hexagon.
