Description
This is a set of two vintage Japanese rectangular storage boxes, entirely woven from thin bamboo strips.
The boxes feature a tightly woven geometric pattern forming zigzags and diamonds in alternating dark brown and reddish-brown tones. The edges of the lids are finished with a diagonally woven rim for reinforcement. The interiors display the natural, darker backside of the woven bamboo structure.
