This is a Japanese antique porcelain figurine of a sleeping cat, likely made in Seto.
The cat’s serene expression and curled-up posture are beautifully crafted, evoking a peaceful and gentle atmosphere.
The piece features a red ribbon around its neck and has a warm, aged patina characteristic of older Japanese ceramics.
There is a chip on the tip of its front right paw (please refer to the photos).
