Tamba Ware Jar
This vase was made in Japan during the Edo period, around 1800. Tamba-yaki is a well-known ceramic art produced in the Tamba region, which straddles Osaka and Hyogo prefectures. This vase is characterized by a brown glaze over the entire surface, with a white glaze running over the surface. Tamba ware is characterized by its unique rustic texture and natural shades of red, brown, and white. The flowing white glaze on this vase creates a delicate and elegant atmosphere. This handmade vase is a valuable addition to our collection and reflects the rich cultural heritage of Japan. We hope you will consider adding it to your collection.
