Marukodai: Originally used as stands for incense burners, these round stands are now often repurposed for flower vases. They come in black or brown lacquer finishes and are suitable for casual vases made of raku ware, bamboo, or other natural materials.

Plain wooden Hamaguriba: Often made of materials like paulownia, pine, cedar, or cypress, these are used for casual vases such as unglazed pottery, fired clay, bamboo, or gourds.
