• Cracks & Splits: There are two repaired areas on the back (see the upper right and lower left sections in Image 8). Due to the natural drying of the wood over time, surface cracks are present; however, these are stable and not at risk of spreading.

• Surface: Dust, dirt, and wear consistent with age are present. We have left the original patina intact to preserve its historical value.

• Texture: The wood feels weathered and solid. Please review the photos carefully to appreciate the "Wabi-sabi" nature of these imperfections.
