This is a charming pair of vintage Japanese hand-carved wooden dolls, featuring a boy and a girl, created in 1984. They are excellent examples of Showa-era folk art, showcasing expressive faces and traditional attire carved directly into the wood.

Both dolls are personally signed by the artist, "Sadako" , on their backs, along with the specific month and year of creation.
