This is a vase by Koinuma Michio.
--Koinuma Michio--
Born in 1936. Born in Ome City, Tokyo.
Osaka University, Faculty of Economics
Withdrew from the Faculty of Economics at Osaka University and the Faculty of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University.
1970 Built a kiln in Mashiko-cho, Tochigi Prefecture and became independent. Ichimuku Kiln
1974 Awarded the Excellence Prize at the North Kanto Art Exhibition.
1975 Held a solo exhibition in Ginza, Tokyo.
1976 Held the exhibition "Challenge to the Ultimate Beauty of Form" in Tokyo.
1982 Participated in the Lighthouse Japanese Ceramics Exhibition at the Asia Art Festival, Hong Kong Art Center.
1984 Held a solo exhibition in Otemachi, Tokyo.
1991 Received the Tochigi Prefecture Marronnier Culture Award.
