This is a rare Japanese antique wooden fan-shaped Ebira (quiver) accompanied by 25 miniature arrows, believed to date back to the late Edo period. The wooden surface bears inscriptions in black ink, including the year Bunka 10 (1813), adding historical value to this piece.
Each arrow is crafted from wood with natural feather fletching, showing unique variations in shape and color. Notably, the arrows are short in length, suggesting they were not intended for practical use but rather for ceremonial or decorative purposes, such as displays in traditional homes, shrines, or samurai households.
