Antique Japanese Seba-yaki Pottery Tokkuri Sake Bottle Nagano Shinshu Mingei 19.5cm

This is an exceptional example of Seba-yaki (洗馬焼), a historic folk pottery from the Seba region in Nagano Prefecture. A true masterpiece of Mingei (Japanese Folk Art), this vessel represents the pinnacle of rustic beauty combined with functional precision.

While Seba-yaki is known for its robust forms, this particular piece is remarkably rare due to its exceptionally sharp and refined spout. This level of crisp, intentional detail indicates it was crafted by a top-tier artisan of the kiln.
