This is a beautifully crafted vintage bamboo tray, traditionally used in a Japanese wagashi (confectionery) shop to display sweets. Handcrafted with intricate detail, the tray consists of finely arranged bamboo slats secured with traditional weaving techniques.
It was acquired from a long-established wagashi shop that closed down, making it a rare piece with historical and cultural value. Items like this rarely appear on the market, especially in such well-preserved condition.
