Description

 Takatori ware Basin Flower-Shaped Bolw
When observing the kodai (the base of the bowl), it features a spiral-like design known as a Tomoe Kodai (whorl base).

On the side, there is a horizontal line marking, which was specifically created to face the Buddha when placed in front of a Buddhist altar. This indicates that the bowl was crafted as a sacred and high-grade custom item to be used as a Buddhist ritual implement.

The central design showcases radiating petals, a distinctive feature often associated with kikukamon (chrysanthemum crests) or patterns inspired by chrysanthemum flowers.
