Description

This is a Japanese studio pottery small vase (hanaire), crafted by the artist Masahide Matsuyama at the Tatsuno Kiln. It comes with its original inscribed wooden storage box (tomobako).

The vase features a distinctive "Peacock Glaze" (Kujaku-yu), characterized by a deep, rich crimson red cascading into a vibrant purple and dripping down over a white base glaze. Green speckles are visible within the dripping pattern. The base bears the artist's stamped seal.
