This is a vintage Japanese bronze ikebana vase, created by the metalwork artist Okubo Yuko for Heian Shobisai. The artist's signature is engraved on the base.The vase features a cylindrical shape with a horizontal division in the center, giving it a stacked appearance. The exterior is decorated with a faceted, scalloped pattern around the middle section and is finished with a smooth, dark reddish-brown patina. The vessel consists of two parts: the main outer body and a removable, shallow inner bowl (otoshi) designed to hold water for floral arrangements.
