Description
This is a Japanese woodblock print by Iwao Akiyama (1921–2014), a renowned printmaker and a prominent disciple of Shiko Munakata.
The work features one of Akiyama’s signature motifs, an expressive owl, rendered with bold brushstrokes and profound symbolism.
The print is titled “Wakamono (Young Person)” and was created in 1976.
