Antique Japanese Indigo Dyed Noren Curtain Large Yotsume Crest BRKW175

This is an antique Japanese "noren" (traditional fabric divider), made of indigo-dyed fabric.

The noren features an exceptionally large size with multiple vertical panels. The upper section is decorated with a continuous row of diamond-shaped "yotsume" (four-eye) family crests, created using a resist-dyeing technique that leaves the geometric pattern in white against the deep indigo blue background.
