The Box: The included wooden box is a mismatched, alternative storage box (Awase-bako). The inscriptions on the box ("Tokoname-yaki ") belong to a completely different ceramic item and have NO relation to this bronze vase. Key Features:
-
Authentic Hallmark: The base of the vase bears the official stamped seal of the metal craftsman Gyokusen (玉泉).
-
Artistic Bronze Patina: Features a beautiful matte black finish accented with organic amber/crimson mottled splatters. This is a traditional Japanese chemical-heat patination unique to high-end copperware.
-
Elegant Silhouette: The classic flaring rim and tapered waist make it an exquisite vessel for a single flower or branch in the Ikebana (Zen flower arrangement) style.
