This is an antique Japanese Shogi (Japanese chess) and Go game board made of solid wood.
It was handcrafted with a traditional grid pattern on the top surface and supported by sturdy carved legs.
The deep patina and natural wear give it a strong presence, reflecting the beauty of Meiji-era craftsmanship.
