This is a Hariko(papier-mâché) mold of a wooden Daruma.
Small ones are rare.
This is a small papier-mâché mold of a Daruma. While larger ones are commonly seen, such small ones are very rare. Due to the process of repeatedly applying and then removing layers of papier-mâché, all molds of this kind of Daruma have a depression on the back, but this is not due to damage or cracking.
