Description
This is a Japanese antique black lacquered wooden round tray, traditionally used in tea ceremonies. The glossy black lacquer surface reflects the timeless beauty of Japanese lacquerware.
On the reverse side, there are linear lacquer losses (surface cracks) visible (see photos 4). These are not structural breaks in the wood itself but rather a typical phenomenon of lacquerware caused by the natural movement of the wooden base and the passage of time.
The tray comes with its original wooden storage box, bearing ink inscriptions including the product name and the signature of the lacquer master.

Used item. There are scratches, cracks, and linear lacquer peeling on the reverse side due to age. These natural signs of use and age enhance its antique character and historical charm. Please refer to the photos for details.
