This is a large antique Japanese bronze mirror (dokyo) with a custom wooden stand, dating back to the Edo period. It bears the cast maker's signature "Tenkaichi Fujiwara Masashige," indicating its production by a recognized master mirror maker.

The mirror features a handled design (ekyo) with an unpolished front surface. The reverse side is intricately decorated with a high-relief casting of a pine tree, flowing water, and stylized characters. It rests on a hand-carved wooden stand featuring dynamic wave and cloud motifs.
