Beautifully hand-blown with a captivating indigo hue—true Edo-period craftsmanship.

A rare and elegant Edo-period glass tokkuri (sake bottle) from the late Edo era. Inspired by imported medicine bottles, this piece reflects the Japanese fascination with foreign glassware of the time. It features a striking deep indigo blue—known in Japanese aesthetics for evoking mystery and depth.

Authentic Edo glassware like this is extremely rare, especially in this bottle form, as few examples have survived. A valuable piece for collectors of Japanese antiques and early glass.
