This is a refined Japanese bronze flower vase, created by the renowned metal‐artist Tomiyasu Aida (1901-1987). Aida studied under Yamamoto Azumi , served as President of the Kōsai-Kai, and was involved in the founding of the Chukin-ka Kyōkai .
His work exemplifies superb craftsmanship in metal and a deep appreciation for Japanese aesthetics.
Its elegant form and deep brown patina express the timeless simplicity and balance admired in Japanese aesthetics.
