Beschreibung

This is a stunning vintage Japanese "Haribako" (traditional sewing box) masterfully crafted from Tamo wood (Japanese ash). The box features an exceptionally striking, wavy wood grain (known as "tamamoku") that beautifully covers the entire outer surface, highlighted by a rich, reddish-brown finish.

It is designed with multiple sliding drawers of varying sizes for organizing small items, along with a top compartment accessed via a hinged lid. The inside of the top section includes traditional dividers and storage slots. The drawers and lid are fitted with classic, dark metal pulls and hinges, adding to its antique, rustic charm. While traditionally used for sewing supplies, this versatile piece makes an excellent tabletop organizer for jewelry, stationery, or small collectibles.
