Vintage Japanese Hanging Scroll Kakejiku Roaring Tiger Signed Matsukane ASO459

This is a vintage Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku), likely dating to the mid to late 20th century. It is a traditional artwork mounted on patterned brocade fabric with roller ends.

The painting depicts a roaring tiger on a rocky cliff among bamboo, rendered in ink and colors. The artwork includes a signature and a red seal reading "Matsukane". The piece is framed by a golden-toned patterned brocade mounting.

There is a tear at the top of the scroll that has been repaired with tape, Image10,17, the scroll is in vintage condition, showing signs of aging.
