This is an antique Japanese bronze temple bell (bonshō) traditionally used in Buddhist rituals and temples. The bell features a classic rounded form with vertical ridges and raised bosses (chi), along with a stylized dragon-shaped handle (ryuzu) at the top, reflecting traditional Buddhist iconography.
The rustic surface and aged patina convey a strong sense of antiquity and sacred presence, likely cast using traditional methods. When struck, the bell produces a deep, resonant tone—ideal for spiritual displays, meditation, or as a valuable antique collectible.
