The cloth is composed of three sewn panels. The two outer panels feature a deep indigo background with repeating circular crests containing crane (tsuru) and turtle (kame) motifs, uniquely accented with red coloring, set against a pattern of fine dotted lines. The center panel is a lighter indigo shade, decorated with a continuous chrysanthemum floral design.
