This is a Japanese wooden small cabinet (ko-hikidashi), produced during the Showa period. It is a traditional miniature chest of drawers (tansu) originally used for storing small personal items.

The cabinet features a three-tier configuration with four drawers: two small drawers on the top tier and two full-width drawers below. The drawer fronts display a distinct figured wood grain with a tiger-stripe pattern, finished in a reddish-brown tone. It is equipped with aged iron hardware, including a carrying handle on the top surface and traditional metal pulls on each drawer.
