This is an antique Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku) featuring calligraphy, dating back to the Meiji period (around the 1880s). It is a traditional artwork mounted on patterned brocade fabric with wooden roller ends.

The scroll features a Chinese poem (kanshi) written in flowing cursive script (sosho) with black ink on paper. While the specific artist remains unknown, the artwork includes several red seals. One of the prominent seals indicates a date around the 20th year of the Meiji period (circa 1887). It is highly possible that some of these stamps are collector's marks (kanzoin) rather than the creator's signature seals.
