This is a natural Japanese viewing stone, known as Kikuka-seki (chrysanthemum stone), originating from Neodani in Gifu Prefecture. The set includes the stone, a custom-fitted wooden base (daiza), and a small wooden plaque denoting its origin.

The stone features a prominent radial pattern of white and beige crystals on one side, naturally resembling a blooming chrysanthemum flower. The matrix rock exhibits varying shades of dark brown, grayish-green, and deep purple with inherent geological textures. It has an irregular, asymmetrical shape and rests on a carved wooden base with a reddish-brown finish.
